Spring has arrived, and that means yard work. The first order of business has been to cut THE HEDGE (if you've seen our backyard, you know what we're talking about). We're tying to chop it down to a manageable height. We've done a pretty good job so far, although we've also ignored the job the past few weekends. However, we are determined to get it done ourselves and before summer arrives. Wish us luck!
A few weeks ago, we got to visit with Crystal and baby Isabella when they were visiting Crystal's fam in Gresham. Isabella is ~7 months old now, full of personality, energy, and cuteness. She "growls" like a little bear, especially if you aren't giving her your undivided attention, and it's pretty darn cute. She's already sitting up, and she's very strong - she'll be standing in no time! That's my mom, Crystal, me and Dave with the baby. She's growing so fast~
Around Easter weekend, my aunt Cindy came from New Hampshire to visit the fam. I took Cindy, my mom, and Nana on the newest Portland touristy landmark, the OHSU tram . After a great lunch at Marco's Cafe in Multnomah Village, I showed them around my lab in the Center for Health and Healing on the waterfront campus. Then we did the tram - always entertaining, and very beautiful on a sunny day. At the top of the tram, we enjoyed the great art work and patio terraces with views of the city and mountains. As my grandma said, "I could sit here forever and enjoy the view" ~

One of the painting in the new building. It reminds me of "McMenamins"-style artwork, something found at Edgefield.

On Easter, we were at Nana's house for a big family dinner. Good food and nice time with the fam~
