My most favorite time of the year - strawberry season! This is the first harvest of the year from our backyard strawberry patch, and the recent sun and warming weather really helped them this week. I hope to get about a pint a day for the next couple of weeks.C*

I *love* strawberries, too. I went to the farmer's market two weeks ago and bought a four-quart basket. They did not go to waste (although admittedly I had to freeze some). I'm looking forward to tasty smoothies later this summer...
